It is our pleasure as alumni co-chairs for the 2017 KCAI Art and Design Auction, to invite you to join us in support of young artists and designers with a gift of your artwork. The auction supports student scholarships, with every bit of the proceeds going directly to over 98% of students who depend on financial aid to study at the Kansas City Art Institute.

From our first day in Foundation, to developing our senior thesis, our experience at KCAI was invaluable to our formative years as makers, thinkers and artists.  As alumni, we know the importance of receiving financial aid and how it benefitted our future. By donating something from our studios to the auction, as artists we have an opportunity to pay it forward and support the next generation of creative professionals through our own creativity. Please help us to continue this cycle of giving.

On June 3, 2017, the KCAI Biennial Art & Design Auction will take place on our campus. New this year, KCAI has contracted with Paddle8, an international fine art auction house to host a portion of our online auction bidding, which will bring your work to a global collecting community. Space on the Paddle8 online auction site is limited, so reply today!

If you are not in a position to donate a work of art from your studio, but you would still like to support KCAI, we hope you consider a gift to underwrite the auction. Either way you donate, it goes to the same great cause.
